In a twist, Lee has played less games than Kyle this time!
Ghost Recon Break Point has sucked Lee in, and he's struggling to get out. Someone help him! Although the terminator event does sound exciting...
Simone and Kyle both played Slay the Spire, which is on Game Pass for PC and doesn't have achievements, so you can play it casually! Finally, a game that gets us! And it also happens to be a great game. Go, get it now! Its on Game Pass for Xbox and PC, so you have no excuse.
Kyle spent the last weekend starting and finishing Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice and is blown away. Seriously, this game! Also, he started Outer Wilds, did achievement hunting in Forza and more. Its not often Kyle plays more than Lee, so we're giving him this small victory...

All the way from the land of drop-bears and bouncy boxers, Jeremy is back!
Jeremy was our very first Patreon, and without his support and belief in us, we probably wouldn't be nearly as 'good' as we are now. His feedback has helped shape the podcast over the years. Its a pleasure to have him as our first international guest.
Thanks to the wonders of Skype, and being alive at the same time, we get to hear his adventures in Seriko: Shadows Die Twice. Add to the fact that Jeremy and Simone then decided to play a cat dating simulator, and we have a very weird mix of whats happening in this reality. Oh, and we also chat about Forza Horizon 4... It seems young Jeremy has been busy.

It was a quiet week, then we happened...
Lee decides its time to troll Kyle with the Gameplay chart this week... But then its turned around with news that Bioware is officially redesigning Anthem! And the choir of angels all sing. New Zealand's game industry is growing every year. Seriously, well done guys! Xbox Game Pass gets more games added, and more games taken away. Game Pass giveth and taketh away.
In an offshoot, We have some Microsoft/Windows news because Lee decided it was so. And Xbox sells 38 consoles in Japan...
Our new games are sure to serve up a good time, starting with AO Tennis 2. And then we begin a very themed week with most of the games being some sort of space game. Is this space week or something? In an unprecedented move, we even announce a PC game! You'll just have to listen to find out why...

Can you tell we're a bit unorganized?
Because we totally aren't! We're on top of things! We promise...
Game play charts have not moved in a while, titles leaving Game Pass and Xbox Adaptive Controller is allowing wheelchairs to become Xbox Controllers! As you can tell, the news has no rhyme or reason this episode... We're just into everything from the get go. Quite a lot of news for the start of the year.
We even go over what games are coming soon for the Series X. Is that the hype train pulling into the station?
For new games we have a stoner Koala detective in a noir-like adventure, Pillars of Eternity II for all your RPG needs and take a trip to a strange planet in Journey to the Savage Planet. Monster Energy Supercross 3 comes out 2 weeks in a row (trust me, it makes sense) and an updated-almost-3D-remake of Snake! Now we can all be in the 90s again!

Oh you whoo, hi, hello! We back for 2020 with Season FOUR!

We have a lot of games to catch up for #GameFace as the last one we did was last decade! Badum tish.
Kyle is now officially disappointed in The Outer Worlds and is getting re-hyped about DOOM (2016), Simone is playing Fairie, and both Kyle and Lee complete Korgan. Also, Kyle is blown away by MixPlay! Seriously, give it a bash. Lee gets stuck into Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint and Assassins Creed Black Flag.

Like any typical award show, the categories are made up and the points don't matter. With that in mind we don't have a clear winner or loser, or even nominations. We go purely by personal preference. Because that way, we can't be wrong! Its a complete win-win situation.

We're gearing up for our very own Game Awards show! And you get to chime in.

Its been a really quiet week on the news front, with everyone holding off on end-of-year announcements till the televised Game Awards. But that wont stop us! From State of Decay 2 to Halo: Reach, we're talking about Microsoft games coming to Steam. Along with some really exciting Games with Gold news that we're sure will excite the 10 year old within us!
And then we have a massive list of games coming out this week. The biggest one being Halo: Reach! And the excitement is palpable. Often heralded as the second best Halo game, its now finally here and finally part of The Master Chief Collection. We couldn't be more excited! Neverwinter Nights comes back in an Enhanced Edition, Kerbals get more toys to play with in Kerbal Space Program's DLC - Breaking Ground and we're enthralled with Arise: A Simple Story. My Friend Pedro has also jumped on this hype train.

A little Star Wars game was released and our very favourite game reviewer has been playing it!
Thats right, Simone reviews Jedi: Fallen Order.
Lee managed to get into the West of Dead Beta and gives us his thoughts on that, which makes it sound harder than it is. It can't be that difficult, can it? Its not like its a Souls game...
Meanwhile, Kyle has decided to up his completion ratio. Why? We don't even know. But it did lead to getting 30 achievements in one Sunday, and even going back to the OG Destiny. You have never heard a happier Lee...
And apparently Old Man's Journey is better than ABZU according to the resident achievement hoarder... Which means, of course, we had to check it out. Can it live up to the hype?

The stores are starting to play Christmas music, so you know what that means?
Another 'Game Awards' show! And this time, you're invited to our party!
Xbox 360 and Xbox One had birthdays recently which leads us to ask "When will the 360 die?" Playground Games might have given us a glimpse into Fable 4, but all we can do is wait. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare seems to be divisive, and even more so with its new patch. And Logitech comes to the party with a toolkit for the Xbox Adaptive Controller. Good on ya, mate!
Golazo leads our new releases for what is a quiet week. Where The Water Tastes Like Wine has us enthralled with its art style, again! (It was pushed back for some reason) And Mowin' & Throwin' seems like an amazing party game you'll want to get your friends around for. Also, did you know Lee hates rhythm games? We didn't...
