Who would have thought throwing money at Microsoft was so hard?
Join us as we regale our pre-order stories - who got a new Xbox, who almost missed out and who didn't even bother.

In the most shocking and disruptive gaming news in forever, Microsoft has bought Zenimax Media, and by extension Bethesda! From "having no games" to having "all the games", we go over the media reaction to this. And question those who have suddenly changed their tune from 'Exclusives are good on PS4" to "please Microsoft, don't make DOOM exclusive!" Phil is not playing around this generation, and Xbox looks to be making all the right moves.
Halo 3: ODST crash lands onto Game Pass for PC in the Master Chief Collection, along with Halo 3: Firefight. Lee get's excited about a new tennis game, but we wondering if he's spent too much time in the net... Drones can now be raced in a super simulation way, so we can all pretend to be great drone pilots in The Drone Racing League Simulator, while Crossy Road meets trains in Unrailed! And just incase none of those perk your interest, you could always travel back in time to the 1930's and try your hand at being an old timey ganster in Mafia: Definitive Edition.

Lee does not play Metro Exodus in this episode.
Fighting games are the name of the game, kinda. Lee plays all the fighting games - Tekken 7, Super Street Fighter IV - and not any Metro Exodus. So do not listen if you want any Metro Exodus stories. It's all happening!
The Series S, pre-orders, and even the New Xbox Experience!
What do we think of all this news? You'll just have to listen to find out. For some fun, we take apart the specs of the Series S and Series X, and what they mean. We cover the new Xbox dashboard now that it is out, all our thoughts and critiques. And of course, we have normal gaming news. News like EA Play coming to Game Pass!
Releasing on the Xbox this week, we have everything from football (or soccer for the rest of the world) to a dog based tactical strategy and even some farmers who shoot each other with corn. We wish we were joking about that last one! Biped is the new couch co-op game that will test your friendships. There is even this little game from 2007 that is out now and promises to melt consoles and PC's alike. It could be non other than Crysis Remastered!

The Series X and the Series S are now official - price, specs, release date and even a pre-order date! Its all finally happening! And we're super, duper, ultra-excited. Will you be pre-ordering the Series S or Series X on September 22nd?
In other news, do you remember The Rise of The Triad? Well that's getting a remaster, or remade, or re-something...
From descending into the hive cities of Necromunda, to releasing men from cages, we have so many new games this week. Take your sims to a galaxy far, far away with The Sims 4: Journey to Batuu and have a go with lightsabers, or become a chicken and battle other chickens to the death. We're not here to judge... But secretly we are.

Did you know Gamescom 2020 happened? We didn't. And we blame the fact that this is no longer in person. But it happened, and we have all the news for it. We go over all the games that were announced this year, and leave semi-unimpressed.
Call of Duty launches November 13th, so everyone gets quite excited about more guns. Grounded gives players the bird and water fleas. Just in case you weren't creeped out enough. The Division gets announced for Games with Gold, Lightstream is coming to our rescue for direct console streaming and Everwild is dropping Xbox One support... Wat could it mean?
Crusader Kings III emerges on Xbox Game Pass and comes with very high praise, along with Iron Harvest. A game we spoke about 3 years ago! Its finally coming out guys, we can all relax now. Educational Games for Kids get's Lee excited. Maybe a bit too much? But hey, we don't judge. Marvel's Avengers arrives on Xbox, sans Spiderman. But we don't have time to worry too much because we'll be too busy playing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 Remaster!

Just your average day in Lee's Witcher 3 adventures!
With the month almost over, we're still plugging away with our Back to Your Backlog II games. When we're not getting distracted by Forza. Or Destiny. Or life!
Lee finally gets to kill 10 rats, and now his experience is complete. Kyle is still loving Neir: Automata, and is blown away by the way the endings are integrated. Different boss phases, different load outs, different characters - Neir has it all.

We're not lazy! We're efficient!
Apple and Fortnite's fight interests Lee way too much, so we dive into why the Unreal Engine can't be banned from a platform and what it means. The Xbox HotChips event has given us a lot of info to dig around in, and what everyone is taking away is the expected price increase. And the Series S specs get 'leaked' again...
We also hear that Halo Infinite is now canceled on the Xbox One, but how credible is this source?
For new games, we're playing battle soccer, reimagining Cinderella, and talking about Don't NOD's latest choose your own drama in Tell Me Why. Also, Wasteland 3 is coming out, and so far earning all the praise!
